Serbia to receive six Mig-29 fighter jets from Russia in 2017

Serbian Prime Minister Alexandar Vucic announced that six Mig-29 fighter jets will be delivered to the Serbian Air Force free of charge in 2017.

The announcement came during the Prime Minister’s visit to Moscow on Wednesday.

Vucic said that the Migs will come free of charge and Serbia will spend somewhere between 180 to 230 million Euros on their modernization.

The Prime Minister added that Russia will also transfer 30 T-72 tanks and an equal number of BRDM-2 scout vehicles to the Serbian Army.
