A Turkish military transport aircraft has violated Greek airspace over an island in the eastern Aegean on Tuesday morning.
The violation comes just one day after two Turkish F-4 fighter jets violated the Greek airspace between the eastern Aegean islands of Lesvos and Chios.
The Turkish CN235 was captured on Greek radars flying some 30 meters above the islet of Panagia, which is part of the Oinousses island cluster east of Chios.
There is a permanent Greek military presence on the small island and Turkish overflights are a regular occurrence, though not always at such low altitudes.
The incidents were the latest in a string of violations amid increased tensions between the two countries, which sometimes results in dogfights.
