According to Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, S-300 deliveries to Iran have been completed.
This comes after Iranian Defense Minster’s statement late last August when he said Tehran hoped the supplies would be completed within a month. During that time exclusive footage of Iran’s S-300 systems were also displayed.
The contract for selling S-300 to Iran has been ongoing since 2007, after a suspension in 2010. In the spring of 2015 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the sales would move on after Iran’s nuclear deal. The contract took effect in November 2015.
