Six al-Qaeda members have been killed in Ma’rib, Yemen as a result of a drone strike. Although there is no concrete information as to who carried out the strike, it is highly possible that it was executed by the United States.

The fighters were killed in the bombing of a house in the Wadi Obeida tribal area east of the capital Sana’a according to the US media.

The US has been launching drone strikes against al-Qaeda’s powerful Yemen branch for years now.
