The Syrian Army and Lebanese Hezbollah have been working on a joint plan to end rebel presence in southern Syria, particularly near the Golan Heights according to Iran’s Fars news agency.

Sources told Fars that Hezbollah has deployed fighters at the Quneitra passage which connects Syrian territories to the currently Israeli-controlled Golan heights.

Late in August, Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (Al-Nusra formerly) and the Syrian Army clashed in Quneitra.
