Ukraine presents new unmanned ground vehicle

On the occasion of its fifth anniversary, Ukraine’s state-owned arms manufacturer, Ukroboronprom unveiled a new unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) called ‘Phantom’ on Monday.

The UGV, is designed for intelligence gathering, ammunition supply and evacuation of the wounded.

The vehicle is equipped with a 12,7-mm machine gun, thermal imagery device and an electric motor with a generator, which allows it to operate in an autonomous mode for about a month.
