A remote-controlled version of the Russian wheeled armored vehicle “Tigr”, armed with a 30-mm gun was presented by the Russian company VPK LLC.
Apart from moving and firing on the operator’s commands, the vehicle can identify and track targets on its own.
The Tigr’s combat module is identical in design and fire control system to the automatic remote-controlled combat module created for the Uran-9 unmanned ground vehicle.
With a weight of just under 9 tons, the remote-controlled Tigr is currently undergoing test runs and firing tests.
The the development of the vehicle has been funded by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
