Two Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in a round of new clashes in eastern Ukraine.
According to the country’s army, pro-Russian fighters violated the truce by shelling regions under the control the Ukrainian government.
The Ukrainian military spokesman, Andriy Lysenko, added that four soldiers have also been wounded.
This comes after last week’s three Ukrainian casualties due to heavy shelling by mortar and artillery shells.
Russian envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group, Boris Gryzlov, expressed hope for a ceasefire agreement before schools start on the first of September.
