The Bolivian Armed Forces will be supplied with new armored personnel carriers (APC), the China Tiger 4×4 light armored vehicle. This is the first APC procurement for the country’s army since 1979.

The China Tiger is a high mobility, all-weather vehicle that can carry up to nine passengers and a crew of two. Personnel can dismount the vehicle from the rear or from two side doors.

The vehicle is armored against 7.62 mm munitions and can be up-armored with additional protective plates for the driver and commander. Four infantrymen of the back seats have access to firing ports located beneath bullet-proof glass windows.
